ATTENTION LADIES!!!

You see a RENT-A-MAN SERVICES sign and you think; what a catchy name, what a great idea, or boy, wouldn't I like to rent a man for a day!!!

Eight years ago, before I met my RENT-A-MAN, I would have loved the opportunity to rent a man for a day, or two. I was tired of having to handle all the house maintenance myself. After working all week, I didn't want to spend my weekends maintaining my home.

I was tired of going to the rental center to rent a pressure washer to power wash my house and deck. Do you know how heavy those things are? Did you know you could knock out a window from the pressure? Did you know that you had to practically fall forward before you hit the on button so that the pressure of the water coming out of the hose doesn't knock you backwards? That's why they call them pressure washers!!!

And, if I never have to paint another thing again, I will be very happy. By the time I gathered all the materials, spread the drop cloths out, put on old clothes and sent the kids to the grandparents' house, I was exhausted. Painting is a mess. It takes a lot of time, patience and a steady hand, none of which I possess.

And, how many of you have ever purchased one of those closet organizer kits? The ones that can be "installed in less than an hour, with no tools and no carpentry skills?" I wonder how many are still in the boxes?
